Even if you love nature, there are places where you do not want its obvious, but unpleasant part or see. It is an ordinary weed. How to do this to be the masters of the terraces or balcony, and not plants no one to visit? It is possible, we just have to know a few effective tricks.
Even if you try and clean the terrace quite often, a small weed will still find its way to places that decided to populate. For example, the joints between the tiles, the corners of the pot, under the table and the like. The greenery attacks wherever you leave it a little looser hand and weeds grow at a speed that you would appreciate more in ornamental plants. It is high time to take action, but you do not have to run into the drugstore for the Herbicide bucket. You just need your own reason.
It will go even without chemistry
The balcony, terrace, but also other similar places in your garden are often the center of spending free time both adults and children. Therefore, it is good to think about whether children really play on a place treated with relatively aggressive chemistry. The answer is quite clear, so this time we take less dangerous helpers. Vinegar, lemon juice – and all -powerful edible soda will be enough. Then just a little warm water and you can start work.
Acids and soda
Why should we choose these three ingredients? Scientists can explain this exactly, but in simple terms we can remember that vinegar (like mild acid) literally burns weeds to the last root. Lemon juice will help clean the tiles from the last green cells of weed residues, and the edible soda will act against the growth of other marauding plants.
You can do it without any problems
First pour vinegar into the sprayer and spray the entire surface thoroughly. Leave for several hours. The weed will be destroyed due to the vinegar, but will still remain in its original location. Therefore, flush the whole terrace thoroughly and remove the residues of the plants with a broom. This will follow a similar procedure with lemon juice – this time you can only treat places that remained greenish. Finally, sprinkle the terrace with an edible soda, let it work again and finally make the last mechanical intervention with a broom and water. After him, the terrace will be really new.
Magic solution
If you just want to destroy the weeds in the first phase, for example for several days, you can use one liter of vinegar, spoonful of salt and the same amount of detergent. Then apply this mixture directly to the weed leaves – preferably on a sunny warm day. Then it will only be enough to wait and remove the remnants of already drying plants.
Get rid of “green”
Although it is not a weed that will grow out after a few weeks, especially more porous tiles are susceptible to moss clogging. If you do not wish to have a natural green carpet on the balcony or on the terrace, use edible soda. Its combination with hot water (and brush) not only cleans the place perfectly, but even blends and disinfects. You can add to this solution to the first mentioned ingredients, ie lemon and vinegar. You get “three in one” and you will not complain about the result of your efforts.
