Front Cold brings precipitation to SP, RJ, ES and MG, with temporal alert on the coast until Monday (21.abr)
The southeastern region of Brazil has forecasts of cloudy weather and rainfall until the holiday of Tiradentes, on Monday (21.abr.2025). According to information from, a cold front moves to Espírito Santo and the north of Minas Gerais.
In São Paulo, the clouds are expected to decrease, although there is still a possibility of rainfall in the border with Minas Gerais. Greater São Paulo will have cloudy weather with weak rainfall, while the coast of São Paulo will face clouded conditions and sea winds.
In Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo and Minas Gerais, the sky will remain cloudy with rain, with the risk of thunderstorms on the coast.
Climatempo warned the risk of thunderstorms on South Coast and North Fluminense, South and North Capixaba, as well as predicting rainfall in Baixada Santista and the north coast of São Paulo. The probability of rays is low, but rain can be moderate to strong at various times of the day.
During the holiday of Tiradentes, the rain should focus on the Southeast coast, ranging from weak to moderate intensity.
SÃO PAULO
In São Paulo, so far, April has accumulated 121.7mm of precipitation, a volume 86.7% above the historical average for the month. The (Emergency Management Center) reported that this is the 4th rainy April since 1995.
In the coming days, a break in the heavy rains are expected, scheduled to return from Thursday (24.abr) on Friday (25.abr) due to a new cold front. The arrival of a polar cold air mass should further reduce temperatures, especially at dawn.
