Real lovers of traditional flavors say that chops can only be made of meat. Lovers of egg, broccoli or potato chops stand in the opposition. If you want to limit its consumption, you can decide to prepare an interesting dinner dish, which they are Crooked cabbage cutlets. You will need a few cheap ingredients, such as potatoes, sauerkraut or onions. You can serve ready chops with potato purée and your favorite salad. The family will eat.
You will need: to prepare the cutlets:
- 1 kg of potatoes,
- 300 g of sauerkraut,
- 2 onions,
- 1 egg,
- 10 g of butter,
- Salt and pepper,
- half a teaspoon of thyme,
- half a teaspoon of parsley,
- Frying oil,
- 1 tablespoon of wheat flour.
Cook the potatoes in uniforms in salted water. When they cool down, peel them with the skin. Set aside to cool completely.
Chop the onions very finely. Melt the butter in a pan. Fry the onion on it, adding it in the process and stirring occasionally. It should fry well, do soft and shiny.
Drain the sauerkraut from the pickle and chop finely, but do not rinse under water. Add to fried onion. Season with salt, pepper and thyme. Fry for about 4-5 minutes until it gets soft. If necessary, water with water.
Pieces squeeze through the press or crush them well as if for purée. Add prepared cabbage with onions to them. Stake in 1 egg. Season with parsley. Mix well.
Form flattened chops from the mass. Gently coat each of them in flour. Fry in hot oil on each side until they get golden.
