We usually sow asparagus beans in April – it is important that the weather is favorable. The vegetable likes sunny places, exposed to the wind. There are no high requirements and it tolerates drought well, but a few tricks will allow you to significantly increase the yields.

At the beginning, fertilization of green beans is not necessary, it is worth doing when seeds already sprout and reach a few centimeters. Then we can reach for a natural fertilizer, which is very simple to prepare, and all you need is rice in sachets. We cook and use rice as standard for the prepared dish, the fertilizer is water from rice, which will provide beans with a lot of needed microelements. Importantly, rice water cannot be salted.

In such a home fertilizer we will find thugs and minerals that have a good effect on the soil and the development of the roots, and thus plant growth. In addition, it is natural, thanks to which there will be no risk of survival. It can be diluted with water in a 1: 1 ratio, after cooling, water the seedling with fertilizerthis treatment should be repeated 1-2 times a week. Potato water also works on a similar principle, if there is no salt in it.

The green beans are best planted in a soil rich in humus and light, good that it has a sour reaction or indifferent. In the case of sowing and distance, follow the manufacturer’s recommendations – depending on the selected variety, there are slight differences. This plant is easy to grow, it is sown from seeds, germination usually lasts 7-10 days.

After sowing, it is worth watering the beans, it can accelerate its germination. In the case of cool nights, it is good to cover the bed, among others agrotextile, thanks to which the soil will not be chilled. It is also important not to plant it in the cavities – accumulating water and significant moisture can cause rot of the roots and no crops.
