Account of the State Department in X posted a message from Rubio and says that visiting the country is a privilege
The profile in do From the United States in the X (former Twitter) published on Saturday (19.ab.2025) a quote attributed to Secretary Marco Rubio aimed at those who wish to travel to the country:
“American visas are a privilege, not a right, reserved for those who make the United States better, not to those who seek to destroy them inside.”
The text was accompanied by a card with a summary version of the statement assigned to Rubio: “Visiting the United States is not a right. It is a privilege granted to those who respect our laws and values.”
The message was published on the same day as the US of Venezuelan immigrants, ordered by the government. The decision highlights the conflict between the president (Republican Party) and the American Judiciary, especially in cases linked to immigration. Mass deportations were a promise of Trump’s campaign and thousands have been expelled from the US, including immigrants without criminal record. On Sunday (13.abr), a Brazilian model about his arrest and deportation in the country by medicine and “irregularities on your cell phone”.
