The financial moment of Corinthians is far from quiet: the club’s current debt comes to R $ 2.4 billion. In an interview with CNN Sports S/A This Sunday (20), Fabinho Soldado, executive director of Corinthians, exposed the severity of the financial situation faced by Timão.

“The truth is that the debts are huge. It has a very high debt. And today, of course, this account does not close,” the manager began.
“The bill is still very high, much more for what it has to pay. The debt today is the big bottle of Corinthians and ends up compromising a lot of the sport. When I talked about RCE [Regime Centralizado de Execuções]it is because it is an important time for the club. You don’t have that tranquility, that security of not having a attachment. According to Fabinho, the board has been seeking ways to keep the cast motivated and aware of the role each player plays in the club’s economic context.
“On the other hand, the club needs to continue, proceed. Football is the flagship of. And that is why the president has given us the whole structure so that we can give this message to the athletes: they need to collaborate with the club. I speak a lot of it,” said Fabinho.
