Buttermilk pancakes This is a sweet proposition that you can serve for both breakfast, lunch and a delicious dinner. If you like pancakes with the addition of fruit, put the cut into the mass apple pieces. They will also fit here too slices of bananas, blueberries and even chopped chocolate. You can serve ready pies in several ways. They will taste great simply sprinkled with powdered sugar. You can also serve them with your favorite fruit, jam and even whipped cream.

You will need: to prepare buttermilk pancakes:

  • 500 ml buttermilk,
  • 360 g of wheat flour,
  • 2 eggs,
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter,
  • 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar,
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder,
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda,
  • a pinch of salt,
  • 2 apples (optional).

Mix wet products in one bowl. Blush buttermilk, eggs and butter briefly.

In the second bowl, combine loose products, i.e. flour, powdered sugar, baking powder, baking soda and a little salt.

Add dry products to wet and mix briefly. The consistency should be quite thick, just like sour cream. If you add apples, peel them and cut them into small pieces. Mix gently into the dough. Leave the mass for 10 minutes.

After this time, heat the pan. Apply the dough with a spoon. Fry on two sides for a few minutes.
