The Vatican announced that Pope Francis’ funeral, who died on Monday (21.br.2025) at the age of 88, is scheduled to be held between Friday (25.abr) and Sunday (27.abr). The ceremony will follow the guidelines of the Apostolic Constitution, which determines that the funeral of a pontiff should be held between the 4th and 6th day after death. The exact date of the funeral will be decided at the 1st General Congregation of Cardinals, scheduled for Tuesday (22.abr).
