During a session held on Monday (22), at the Legislative Assembly of the State of Acre, state deputy Tadeu Hassem used the podium to report the conditions of BR-317 and request measures from the National Department of Transport Infrastructure (DNIT).

According to the parliamentarian, who uses the via weekly to transit between the capital and Brazil – his region – the stretch of the highway that comprises the municipalities of Senador Guiomard and Capixaba, presents roads in intrachegable conditions.

Hassem also mentioned the stretch between the municipalities of Brazil and Assis Brasil, which is in the same conditions. The deputy said he uses the highway weekly and pointed out that the repairs currently performed by the responsible company would be being made at points where there is no need, while damaged areas remain without maintenance.

In an interview previously granted to TV Gazeta, Hassem had already addressed the situation of BR-317. At this Monday’s session, he reinforced his request for the DNIT to adopt measures regarding the conservation of the highway, highlighting its role as a representative of the municipalities of Brazil, Epitaciolândia and Assis Brasil.

“I make this cry as a representative of the people. That Dnit has a loving look at our BRs, who are essential to life in our Acre,” said the deputy during his statement.
