‘I cried of emotion’, recalls Rondoniense artist who painted work delivered to Pope Francis

According to the artist, the painting portrays the Pope on the Cathedral Nossa Senhora dos Ringing, in Guajará-Mirim (RO), his hometown. In the work, the pontiff holds a dove inn in one hand, representing protection and hope for the community.
