Jazz around the clock: Ö1 on the “International Jazz Day” the music genre is moving to the center of many programs on April 30th. It starts at 6.10 a.m. in “Good morning with Ö1 Goes Jazz” with a varied music program, recommendations from the jazz editorial team and concert tips, as it says in a broadcast. From 7.30 p.m., an “on Stage Special” is on the program live from the Salzburg Jazzit, with the quartet Purple Muscle Car and the trumpeter Yazz Ahmed, which appears in the duo with vibrafonist Ralph WYLD. The “Ö1 Jazz scholarship 2025” is awarded during a break. At a late hour, the cabaret artist and musician Christof Spörk are visiting the “Ö1 Jazznacht” (00.05 a.m.).
