The government base Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in the warning of a possible maneuver of Bolsonarists in the house from next week to lock the criminal action against Deputy Alexandre Ramagem (PL-RJ), one of those involved in the alleged coup plot.
The fear is even greater due to a legal interpretation that, if the action against branch is locked, this measure could be extended to the other defendants in the case, including the former president himself (PL).
According to Article 53 of the Constitution, the majority of the members of the House may hold the progress of the criminal action against one of the deputies within 45 days. The deadline for branch, whose complaint was received by the STF, wins on May 15.
The PL formalized the request for freezing the action, which is under analysis by the Constitution and Justice Commission with a voting period of ten sessions, of which six have passed. The government sees a real risk of approval in the collegiate.
Another point of attention to Lula’s base is the fact that the complaint against branch includes facts prior and later to his diploma, which occurred in December 2022.

To clarify this point, the leader of the House of Representatives, (RJ), sent on April 14 the letter, asking for the “objective delimitation” of the facts that may be suspended by the deputies.
