In a bilateral acts signature event, the president also invited the Chilean to the BRICS summit in July
The President (PT) said this Thursday (22.br.2025) that can “Try to fix” A bilateral meeting between Chilean President Gabriel Boric and China President Xi Jinping. The speech took place during a ceremony of signing cooperation agreements between the countries in the Planalto Palace.
Lula’s idea is to use “Friendships” Presidency chief advisor, Celso Amorim, to articulate the meeting with the objective of “Show that a country is not great for its territorial extension, but for the dynamism of its politics, its culture and its people.”
Lula also advised that Boric attend the meeting of the Celac (community of Latin American and Caribbean states) held in China during May. At the meeting, Lula has a bilateral meeting marked with the Chinese leader.
The petista also extended to the Chilean president an invitation to the BRICS summit, held in Brazil in July this year.
Signed agreements
The heads of state, accompanied by their respective ministers, signed 8 bilateral agreements this 3rd. These are cooperation in the areas of foreign trade, public safety and justice, audiovisual co-production, family farming, officers exchange and artificial intelligence. Another 5 acts of cooperation were also signed.
