There may be several causes. It is good to know how to prevent them and what measures to take so you can enjoy a beautiful, green lawn like a picture.
The most common cause of lawn yellowing? Avoid these errors in care
The lawn may turn yellow due to improper care. A common mistake is inappropriate watering of grass. Surprisingly, this is not a shortage, but a surplus of water. When we pour our lawn too often and intensely, the soil becomes wet and beam.
This causes the grass roots do not have good access to oxygen and therefore begin to rot. As a result, the grass cannot receive nutrients, it begins to turn yellow and soon dries. If you want to avoid this problem, water the lawn less often, but more married. It is best to do it early in the morning or early evening. Another common mistake is the lack of regular fertilization of the lawn. Then the soil loses its fertility and the grass does not have to draw elements necessary for growth. It is therefore advisable to use special fertilizers for lawns, especially in spring and summer, when the phase of intense growth takes place. Choose products containing nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus. Be careful, however, that you do not deliver the grass too much of the fertilizer, as this could also lead to burns and finally to the yellowing of the stalks.

It also happens that yellow spots on the lawn are caused by mechanical damage. This applies, among other things, too low a mower or too frequent pedaling on the grass by people and animals.
In addition, our lawn can attack fungal diseases, such as snow mold, fuzariosis and red thread. It is these that then create irregular yellow spots and dry ends of grass. Usually these diseases attack the lawn in wet weather, especially when it does not have enough air and grows too densely.
To prevent this, it is advisable to perform the aeration of the lawn, the so -called aeration. In addition, take care of regular raking the lawn. If the disease strongly attacks the grassland, reach for special fungicidal products.
