Acre mayor has a meeting with Father Kelmon, former presidential candidate: ‘Very far away’

Father Kelmon, who was one of the names who ran for the Presidency of the Republic in 2022, was exposed by the mayor of Assis Brazil, Jerry Correia (PP), who said the priest would be Acrean, in the National Congress plenary during informal meeting.

“From Acre? My God from heaven. It is very far from your state,” said the priest, who claims to be the orthodox priest of the Sirian Orthodox Church of Antioch in Brazil.

In the 2022 elections, the religious was a candidate for the Brazilian Labor Party (PTB), in the right right, in place of Roberto Jeferson, who could not compete as he was arrested. Father Kelmon accumulated only 81,000 votes.
