Described as a “armor shaped in history”, the new jersey provides tribute to the resistance and bravery of the Portuguese people in that decisive confrontation of the fourteenth century. The idea, according to the club, is to transport this combative spirit into the four lines.
“Just as Portugal defended its independence with courage, Lusa enters the field with the same determination to recover its prominent place in national football,” wrote the São Paulo emblem on social networks.
