O Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 2025 Championship It happens between this Saturday (April 26) and next Sunday (May 4), in Barueri, in the metropolitan zone of São Paulo-SP. The tournament will be played at the José Correa Multisport Gymnasium, with free admission to the public, and will be broadcast live (check below).
The competition is organized by the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Confederation (CBJJ) and the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu International Federation (IBJJF).

Age category and absolute
Athletes who are in 1st, 2nd or 3rd in their categories may register in the absolute.
White band (all categories) – There will be no absolute category.
Juvenile blue and purple track will have two categories of absolute:
- Light absolute, lightweight to light;
- Heavy absolute, from medium to heavy.
How to subscribe to the absolute?
Athletes must register at the absolute registration table.
Registration must be made within 15 minutes after the athlete receives his medal.
Athletes will not be able to register after the registration of their categories is closed.
*The start time of the absolute category published in the event programming is just an estimates of the start time. The start time of the category may vary throughout the day of the event due to several factors, such as number of registered people, time of previous fights, medical care within the ring, etc.
Athletes who want to compete in the absolute category must have their time fully available to be able to compete at the time the category begins.
Exceptions:
Adult black belt – All athletes can sign up for the absolute.
Adult black belt that enrolls in the absolute and not attending for your fight, will be automatically disqualified from your weight category.
Athletes will not be able to register after the registration of their categories is closed.
Adult black belt should register on the absolute on Friday, May 2, up to 5pm. Registration will not be accepted after this time.
