In Poland, no case has been recorded so far, and the authorities have not seen suspicions of its occurrence. However, measures, including border controls, last, informed a team of the Polish Ministry of Agriculture, which coordinates preventive measures against the introduction of the infection. In the system of monitoring the movement of animals and animal products, one consignment of animals from Slovakia, which was intended for defeat, was announced on Tuesday. Transport will pass through the Chyžné border crossing, where it will undergo a thorough inspection to avoid the introduction of the clinker and the coffin.
According to the ministry, the situation in the region remains under control. There are continuous preventive activities in Poland. On seven selected border crossings, including the Chyžný, there are continuous checks of vehicles transporting even theater. The specialized laboratory in Pulawách has already investigated more than three thousand samples, all with a negative result.
At the same time, the state authorities monitor markets and online platforms where sensitive goods are traded and makes extensive educational campaigns for veterinarians, breeders, carriers or local governments. More than 9,000 training and information events have been carried out since January. The Ministry distributed hundreds of thousands of information materials and leads the Slintečka and Krivačka campaign – joint activity, common security on social networks, online space and radio.
