Madrid prepares to receive one of the most challenging curves of Formula 1… “La Monumental”

In the Spanish capital, the anticipation for the one who promises to be one of the most emblematic strokes of the Formula 1 calendar is already. In the emphasis is a curve that has already won its own name – La Monumental – and which presents itself as one of the boldest of the circuit: an impressive slope of 24% and only half a meter length that promises to test the limits of each pilot.

This new circuit, nicknamed Madrig, will host the Spain Grand Prix between 2026 and 2035. It is a hybrid track, combining city sections with more technical sectors, and will have a total length of 5,474 meters, 20 curves and four zones identified as ideal for overtaking. It is estimated that the average speed of monoligales reaches 218 km/h, with around the minute and 32 seconds.

For fans, the news is equally encouraging: Madrid wants to make this circuit one of the most affordable in the grill, predicting that 90% of viewers use public transport to reach the room. In total, the benches will be able to host more than 110,000 fans of the sport.

A grand stage for strong emotions… and La Monumental will undoubtedly be the center of attention. 👌
