Mexican musician Carlos Santana, 77, was ill and was hospitalized on Tuesday, 22, in the city of San Antonio, Texas, in the United States. According to information released by TMZ, he passed out while playing sound to a show that would take place later at Majestic Theater.
Representatives from Santana said the artist was rescued after the Fire Department was triggered. He was taken to a hospital to perform tests, and the suspicion was that he suffered dehydration. The presentation, initially maintained, had to be postponed.
This is not the first health problem that the guitarist faces this year. In January, he had to postpone eight shows that would take place in Las Vegas after falling and breaking his little finger from his left hand at his house in Hawaii.
Considered a prominent and revered guitarist of international music, Carlos gained worldwide prominence during at the Woodstock Festival in 1969.
