The Editory Collection Hotels has expanded its presence in the national hotel sector with the inauguration of a new five -star hotel in the Algarve. The project also includes a block of tourist apartments.
Located in Lagos, The Editory by the Sea Lagos emerges as a new accommodation proposal, betting on integration with the region’s natural and artistic heritage. Proximity to the sea and the main points of interest is one of its main characteristics.
The new Algarve Hotel develops over nine floors and has a total of 204 rooms. These are available in various typologies, namely double standard, twin standard, double sea view, sea view, superior sea view and two suites. The cost of the project was 63.8 million euros.

The reception of the hotel welcomes the artistic installation Balance, by textile artist Vanessa Bargão, inspired by the corals of the Portuguese coast. This work reinforces the brand’s commitment to artistic appreciation, incorporating elements that refer to biodiversity at risk.
The concept of the hotel is based on tapestry and natural tones, in a connection between the decoration and the surrounding environment. The presence of works of art and references to the ocean is present in various spaces of the building.

In the coral restaurant, the gastronomic proposal is based on products in the region, through a daily buffet with flavors that refer to the local tradition. The offer is designed to value the Portuguese cuisine, focusing on the quality and freshness of the ingredients.
The hotel also has Crab’ar, with slight meals throughout the day, and the Oyster Bar, where you can enjoy snacks and drinks in a relaxed environment.
