Training in one of the most expensive gyms in Brazil costs just over two minimum wages – per month. Booking R $ 3,500 from the monthly budget for physical activities, obviously, is not for everyone. But the Six Sport Life goer is not only willing to shell out this amount, but it ends up saving. At least that’s what guarantees Eilson Studart, creator and one of the founders of the businesswhich already has a second new unit in São Paulo and prepares to open a third in Brasilia. “The cost-benefit pays the bill,” the businessman told Infomoney.

Studart, who for 15 years was a partner of the Coco Bambu restaurant chain, was inspired by high standard hotel gyms and brought the reference to the name of his new endeavor, started last year. Six alludes to a “six stars” service.

Units work with a system all inclusive that gives free access to crammed refrigerators with shakes protein, isotonic – and sparkling, on weekends – as well as coffee tables with fruits, snackswhey, collagen and creatine. “These are expensive products, which we make available at ease,” explains the businessman, which, in part, justifies the monthly fee.

Hotel stewardship

A series of “stewardship” is also part of the package. The gym has a conciergelike a hotel, and the goer does not even have to worry about sanitizing bodybuilding devices after using them-there are employees for it. The customer just needs to hold on their fragrant towel, supplied by Six itself, and have it seen in training. In each device, there is a monitor that accompanies the cadence of the movements and warns the time to increase weight. The instructors also give personalized follow -up.

In the locker rooms, he has steam sauna and ice tub (for the brave). In the female, a beauty salon with hair and nail services for the goers.

SIX works with a limited number of customers. Each of the units has vacancies for up to 500 members. “We guarantee that there will not be that density of people taking turns equipment,” says Studart.

In São Paulo, the Academy operates near Faria Lima, the largest financial center in the capital. Studart and the partners – Nutrologist Leandro Vaz and Business Educator Ravell Nava – invested $ 20 million in the unit. The return does not only come from student tuition. SIX provides areas for lease within the gyms. At the first unit in Brasilia, an orthopedics and physical therapy clinic, a track & Field clothing store () and soon a coffee shop. The products and services offered by tenants are charged separately.

“Many brands seek us to make activations inside, so we have a good revenue with it too,” says the businessman. From three to four stores per year

With this revenue diversification strategy that goes beyond the monthly fee of R $ 3,500, Six Sport Life has the ambition to become the first luxury gyms network in Brazil. “We want to do three to four stores a year to enjoy a ‘vacuum’ that exists in this segment,” says Studart. The Les Cinq, by businessman Rodrigo Sangion, charges the same amount for the monthly fee, but, for now, has only one unit in São Paulo.

SIX’s third unit is scheduled to open next September in the federal capital. The gym is being built in an area of two thousand square meters and will be the largest in the network so far, with capacity for 800 members. Half of the vacancies have already been filled by customers who paid enrollment and an advanced tuition to enter the waiting list. It is a way to ensure revenue with a business that has not yet inaugurated and avoid last -minute dropouts. “I don’t want to have default at the time of inauguration,” jokes Studart.
