By order of the minister, a bailiff entered the ICU of DF Star Hospital in Brasilia, on Wednesday (23) to summon the former president () about the beginning of criminal proceedings on charges of attempted coup d’état in 2022.
The (Federal Supreme Court) reported in a statement that it expected a “proper date” for the personal subpoena to be done to Bolsonaro-interned since Friday (11) and undergoing surgery in the stomach.
Bolsonaro, however, gave an interview on Monday (21) by video to SBT Brazil, from the bed of his ICU room, and on Tuesday (22) participated in Live in which he talked with, and, his children. Former pilot Nelson Piquet also participated.
“The disclosure of live by the former president on yesterday (22/4) demonstrated the possibility of being quoted and summoned today (23/4),” said the Supreme.
The broadcast on Tuesday was promoted by Bolsonaro’s children to sell brand -launched graphene helmets, from which Jair as Flavio are partners.
