Measures introduced against the clinker and the Boam (SLAK) could be released in Slovakia in the first decade of May, around the seventh respectively. 10 May. This was stated after Wednesday’s meeting of the government by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Richard Takáč (Smer-SD).
„As we have the opportunity to see, the clinker’s incubation time seven to 14 days is probably not true, the incubation period is probably much longer. It can also be seen in Hungary, for the first time a new fireplace jumped after 20 days. In our country, the Central Director of the State Veterinary and Food Administration talks about the deadline 7. 10. May when we could start releasing measures, ”he said.
He added that the release of veterinary measures could be started in the east of Slovakia, which is not yet affected by SLAK, for example, by opening zoos. “But now we are certainly not in the stage to release the measures, everyone must follow them,” Takáč added.
