The cardamom has a beneficial effect on the digestive system without a doubt. Its regular consumption helps to reduce nausea, flatulence, indigestion and heartburn. It can also work in antispasmodics.
As mentioned, it has cleansing properties because it has a diuretic effect, and thus flushes toxins from the body. In addition, it prevents water retention in the body and also reduces blood pressure. Therefore, it reduces the risk of heart disease, but also diabetes and cancer.
We will buy ground cardamom in almost every store. We can also use its green pods, but then we have to grind them ourselves.
Preparation of cardamom coffee is very easy. Just add 1/4 teaspoon of this spice to a small black cup. When slimming, it’s best to give up additives that conquer the caloric content of the drink. I am talking about milk and sugar.
Nothing prevents you from adding cardamom to tea. It goes perfectly with black or green.
Remember not to drink more than 3 cups a day. With more we can expect side effects, i.e. increased heart rate or insomnia.
