In a traffic accident on Thursday morning on the road I/20 near Košice there was a collision of a two -pedestrian vehicle. There was also a minor child, the other person led his hand. “The older person suffered injuries incompatible with life, the child suffered severe injuries,” the Košice regional police said on the social network.
The tragic accident happened shortly after 06:30. On the way in the direction from the crematorium to Košice. Alcohol consumption or the presence of narcotic drugs was not detected by the police. During documenting the accident, the road in the direction of Košice was closed. They invited an expert from the transport department.
“Criminal prosecution has been initiated for the offense of killing in concurrence with a crime of bodily harm. The exact cause of the accident and possible violation of pedestrian rules will be subject to expert examination,” said the police.
