CCJ analyzes Glauber Braga’s appeal against cassation this Thursday (24)

A Constitution and Justice Commission (CCJ) of the Chamber begins to analyze this Thursday (24) the appeal presented by the deputy Glauber Braga (PSOL-RJ) Against the revocation of your mandate.

If the CCJ rejects Glauber’s appeal, the process will continue to analyze the plenary, where it should receive at least 257 votes for the cassation to be approved.

Hunger strike

Glauber Braga spent nine days on hunger strike against the cassation process. According to PSOL’s staff, he lost five pounds.

The deputy protested against the decision of the Ethics Council of the House of Representatives to approve a opinion that asks for the revocation of his mandate.

Glauber is accused of pushing and expelling a member of the Free Brazil Movement (MBL) of the National Congress during a confusion in 2024. At the time, the parliamentarian kicked the man.
