In connection with the occurrence of storms, which may also be accompanied by intensive downpour, the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMI) issued for several districts and warning against the influx flood. Informs about it on his website.
By 20.00 h, the hydrological warning for the districts of Detva, Poltár, Rimavská Sobota, Revúca and Nové Mesto nad Váhom pay. By 5.30 pm, the warning for the district of Krupina is valid. “Given the expected storms in storms, we assume a temporary significant local rise in water levels, especially on small streams,” says SHMI on its website. It also draws attention to the possible occurrence of concomitant flood phenomena outside the streams.
The development of the hydrological situation will be continuously updated by the SHMI. The warning against storms, accompanied by violent wind, intensive rain and hail, is valid until 8 pm for the whole territory of Slovakia, with the exception of the extreme East.
