We have apples throughout the season, and the best and favorite cake of Poles is of course apple pie. Whether baking will be successful depends largely on the apples. However, it turns out that some types of these fruits are better suited to make the dough.

It is worth using apple varieties such as:

  • ligol;
  • russet;
  • Golden Reneta;
  • papers;
  • Antonówka.

The gray reneta is probably the most commonly used for apple pie. It is worth making a cake from time to time choosing other apples, thanks to which we will discover new flavors.

When the aura outside the window gets more and more autumn, there is nothing better than good tea and a piece of delicious apple pie in the pudding variant. Therefore, there is nothing else but to get the necessary ingredients and bake a cake that impresses with each bite. To prepare autumn apple pie you will need:

  • 5-6 large apples (Reneta or Antonówka);
  • 1 packet of vanilla pudding;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 140 ml of milk;
  • 100 g of butter;
  • 320 g of wheat flour;
  • about 30-50 g of breadcrumbs;
  • 220 g cukru;
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder;
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract;
  • 1.5 teaspoons of ground cinnamon;
  • 1 teaspoon of cardamom;
  • 2 teaspoons of lemon juice.

Preparation method:

  1. First, take care of the apples. Peel them, get rid of the seed nests and cut the fruit into slightly larger cubes. Then place the fruit in a large bowl, cover them with half a glass of sugar, add cinnamon, cardamom, lemon juice and vanilla extract. Mix the whole properly.
  2. Take a second large bowl, pour in flour, pudding, baking powder and the remaining half a glass of sugar. Melt the butter, cool it a bit and also put them in a bowl. Stake in two eggs and add milk. Then mix the whole until the whole mass becomes uniform. If necessary, you can add slightly more milk.
  3. Form for dough (standard, measuring about 40×25 cm) grease with a small amount of butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Then pour the apple into the mold and pour them with pudding. Mix the whole and put in the oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for about 45 minutes (depending on the specifics of a given oven, it may be enough for up to 40 minutes – it is worth checking after that the apple pie is ready).

After pulling out of the oven and cooling, the apple pie flooded with pudding is ready. It can be served with a portion of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. The cake tastes great with apple mousse. It is so delicious that it disappears from the sheet in one day.
