Former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) remains hospitalized at the DF Star Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Brasilia, after intestinal clearance surgery held on April 13.
According to a medical report released on Friday (26), Bolsonaro has stable clinical condition, without new peaks of blood pressure, and measures have been adopted to control changes in liver exams.
“It is clinically stable and without new peaks of blood pressure raising. Measures were taken to control the changes in liver laboratory tests,” the medical team said.
Also according to the hospital, the former president was on Thursday (25), which indicated normal postoperative evolution, without complications or need for new procedures. Bolsonaro continues in oral fasting, with exclusive parenteral nutrition, and continues without an ICU discharge forecast, and maintains the medical recommendation of not receiving visits.
History of surgeries
This was related to the sequelae of the stabble that Bolsonaro suffered in September 2018, during the presidential campaign. Since then, he has had several episodes of intestinal obstruction, being regularly monitored by his medical team.
Summoned by the STF in the ICU
During the current hospitalization, at the behest of Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), to respond to the case in which he is a defendant for alleged attempted coup.
