The decision was based on an excerpt from the Constitution that states that the mandate will lose the deputy or senator “who fails to appear, in each legislative session, to the third part of the ordinary sessions of the house to which he belongs, except license or mission by the authorized one.”
A cassation process was being processed in the House and had already been approved in the Ethics Council, but was waiting for stagnant since last year that it was guided in the Plenary by the presidency of the House-Before Arthur Lira (PP-AL), now Motta.
