The Young Heliópolis Choir will perform this Friday (25) at the Casa Ouro Preto Foundation, in Vila Maria, northern São Paulo.
In the audience will be 39 adolescents who meet socio -educational measure on site.
The action is promoted in partnership between the Casa Foundation and the Baccarelli Institute, dedicated to music education.
The repertoire, conducted by conductor Otávio Piola, has MPB songs, such as “Flor de Lis”, from Djavan, and scholarly music, “The Lamentation of Jeremiah”, by composer Thomas Tallis, passing by the countryman and samba, with “Romaria”, by Renato Teixeira, and “The Show has to continue” by Arlindo Cruz. The choir will be accompanied by pianist Edilaine Monteiro.
The Casa Ouro Preto Foundation recently revealed a talent in rope instruments, a 17 -year -old violin -year -old studies the instrument at Baccarelli and works in social organization.
The young coral Heliópolis is one of the four artistic groups maintained by Baccarelli na, the largest in São Paulo.
