The police for the emergency line was called by a man who claimed he had seen a crocodile in the river in Prievidza. The police did not find the animal there, but the notifier measured alcohol in breath. TASR informed on Friday by the Trenčín regional police spokeswoman Petra Klenková.
The operating center sent a police patrol to the site immediately after the announcement. “The notifier told the police that an unknown object was observed in the dead arm of the Nitra River, which subsequently diverted. The patrol checked the place, but with a negative result. No crocodile or other unknown object was observed, ”said Klenková.
According to her, communication was harder with the notifier who was on the place on the bike. “For this reason, the police have undergone a breath test on the spot, which ended up with the result of a measurement of 2.71 per mille of alcohol in the breath,” added. In this context, the police recall that alcohol and bike are a bad combination. According to her, people should think about road safety every day.
