Police have had to act in the center of Seville and disperse Barcelona in a climate of tension
The National Police has intervened early this afternoon in the center of Seville, next to the Hispanic City Council, to disperse a large concentration of Barcelona fans, in the midst of an atmosphere of great tension, although the incidents did not go to adults.
This action of agents of the Police Intervention Unit (UIP) was developed around 4.30 pm next to the Laredo building, in a small pedestrian street that joins the Sevillian town hall with the Plaza de San Francisco, where numerous Barca fans had been crowded, which, with chants insulting to the rival, threw rockets and some Bengal, according to EFE.
After being deployed in that street before the large influx of followers and between an atmosphere of tension and shouts of ‘Visca Barça’ and ‘Visca Catalunya’, which managed to disperse a small part of the concentrates, the riot police returned over their steps and immediately retreated to a surrounding area, right next to the town hall.
