Brazilian reads in Portuguese during the Pope’s funeral

The Brazilian Bianca Fraccalvieri read an excerpt from the universal prayer, also known as prayer of the faithful or prayers, in Portuguese during the Mass at Pope Francis’ funeral on Saturday (26.ab.2025). The Pontiff on April 21, at the age of 88.

Bianca is a journalist and coordinator of the Vatican social networks. She also coordinates a team of Brazilians dedicated to the final details of the Pope’s funeral.

The Brazilian lived for many years with Francisco and was invited by him to make religious readings at weekly meetings with Vatican employees.

“By the peoples of all nations who, tirelessly practicing justice, may always be united by fraternal love and incessantly seek the path of peace.”said Bianca during the ceremony.
