The History of Aquashow Transformation
Aquashow has a history of renewal and entrepreneurship. About 25 years ago, businessman Celestino Santos decided to invest in an almost abandoned venture near Quarteira, starting the transformation that would give rise to the current water park. The project proved to be a success and placed the space on the Algarve tourist map.
The expansion with its own hotel
In 2001, Aquashow Park was officially inaugurated, starting with a set of outdoor attractions. A decade later, in 2011, the expansion of the complex also included a hotel, offering a practical accommodation solution for visitors who wanted to prolong their stay.
The year 2022 marked a new chapter in the history of Aquashow, with the opening of the first mega water park covered of the Iberian Peninsula. Inside, visitors find the slide Tornadowith 26 meters high, the Black Holewhere the descent happens in the total darkness, and adventure pools equipped with obstacle paths.

Tickets for the new season are now available for purchase. During May, June and September, adult prices start at 29.70 euros, while in July and August the value rises to 32.40 euros. Children from six to 10 pay 21.60 euros at the low time and 23.40 euros at the high time.
