The consequences can be serious

Washing capsules are very comfortable and very easy to use. You don’t have to dose or think about which compartments to go to. Simply put them in the washing machine drum and turn on the program. The rest happens by itself. However, it turns out that there is a pitfall.

Incorrect use of capsules may damage the washing machine in the worst case, but these are extreme situations. Usually, the result is insufficiently washed or unharmed clothing. This can be unpleasant in the long run. We usually blame the appliance, but the cause can be much more banal. And the mistake is on our side.

  • Before placing the capsule in the washing machine, it is good to read the information on the packaging. You will learn how to use the detergent and what washing it is intended for. But that doesn’t stop.
  • It turns out that it also depends on the order. If you put your clothes in the drum first and then make a capsule. It should be done the other way around.

In order to dissolve the capsule well and get to all clothes, you must first put it in an empty washing machine. Insert the clothes later. So far, many people have no idea about it and they are doing it wrong.

  • It is also advisable to look at the recommended dosage. Of course, the capsules must not be divided, but sometimes two pieces may need to be used. It all depends on the amount of laundry, water hardness and degree of pollution.

Be sure to store the capsules in a dry and cool place, protected from children and pets. Many of them irritate the skin and can cause serious eye damage. Be careful when using them and wash your hands thoroughly after setting the laundry.
