Basilica will close at 7pm and one can get into the queue at most 6. By noon, over 150,000 pilgrims had worshiped the scene of the Holy Father of Catholics.
At eight in the evening, the coffin of the “Pope of the Poor” is going to close. As it became known, the ceremony will take place without the presence of photographers and visitors, because it is a private moment.
The funeral ritual
Tomorrow’s Argentine Pope’s coffin is going to take about half an hour until it reaches the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore.
