Such an ordinary lens …
The lens is especially suitable for women. “It contains a lot of iron, so it reduces fatigue and adds energy. At the same time, it is rich in zinc that strengthens immunity and affects the beauty of hair or nails,” the experts calculate the benefits of the expert, saying that this small legume also regulates sugar in the blood.
Only if she didn’t have to soak …
The disadvantage of legumes is that it must be soaked before cooking and then cook for quite a long time. If you lack patience for these jugglers, treat yourself to legumes that do not need to stay in a water bath for too long. “Such is a red lens,” says the expert, with it, just rinse the legumes and let it cook immediately. In a few minutes it is nicely soft and ready for consumption. Half peas or beans “black eye” work similarly.
Saturejka – Tuna Taste
But if you want to enjoy the lens enough – whether in soup or as a salad or side dish, be sure to add this spice to it. “Saturejka is the most suitable for lens, giving her a more interesting taste and smell. At the same time, it also works as a natural means to support digestion or as a prevention against flatulence,” recommends the expert, adding that if you do not have this herb at home, you can replace it with bay leaves, thyme, parsley, lovage or marjoram.
Exotic
If you are tired of the Czech lens, you can prepare legumes in the Asian version. All you have to do is mix a different type of spice. How to do it: Put a little oil, bay leaf, coriander, garlic cloves, cumin and rinsed lentils in the pot. For this, put another fragrant spice such as turmeric, curry, mustard seed, chili, pepper and ginger. Pour the mixture with water and dust until the legume is completely soft. Finally, add the sliced tomatoes to the lens and let them boil. Serve the finished lens in deep plates. Sprinkle each portion with a little lemon juice and if you want, you can decorate it with a golden -fryed onion, which adds it to juiciness and crispy.
