GNR detained two men for illegal possession of weapons and possession of a banned weapon in a special operation carried out in the municipality of Sintra, in which more than 200 doses of drugs were seized, this Saturday was announced.

The operation mobilized 45 guard military personnelthat fIt isardized more than a hundred drivers and vehicles circulating in the main road accesses to Sintra’s most touristy zonesin the Lisbon district, and eight searches were also conducted (three households, two in commercial establishments and three in vehicles) by the Sintra Criminal Investigation Center (NIC).
As a result, they were seized 192 liamba doses, 20 doses of hashish, 33 ecstasy tablets, two rifles, two compressed air pistols, a pistol replica used in threats, a compressed air rifle, two knives, 21 cartridges, 10 carbon dioxide cargo units (CO2), four packs of chumbes, five CO2 pants, two hunter shrust chips, 100 hermetic bags and a precision scale.
Were also established 21 records in the context of tourist animation activity and non -compliance with labor conditions, eight notices related to illegal immigration, three infractions of infractions to the road code and three records for consumption of narcotics.
Already present at the Lisbon Judicial Court, the detainees were subject to periodic presentations weekly.
