Former President Jair Bolsonaro is clinically stable, without fever or changes in blood pressure, according to a medical report released on Saturday (26) by the DF Star Hospital. The politician remains hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), in postoperative follow-up.
According to the medical team, Bolsonaro follows the treatment to control the changes in liver laboratory tests, which is recovering.
“The signs of gastroparesis (stomach delay retardation) persist and has not yet shown spontaneous intestinal movements, which momentarily prevents oral feed or the gastric probe,” says the medical report.
The former president, adds the document, continues to receive exclusive (intravenous) caloric and nutritional support.
The politician also continues to perform motor physiotherapy and receiving the measures to prevent venous thrombosis. The restriction of receiving visits persists and there is no forecast of discharge from the ICU.
The 70 -year -old politician was on April 11 after feeling severe abdominal pain during a visit to the city of Santa Cruz, in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte. The next day, he went by Air ICU to Brasilia.
