Working cause party criticized the court’s decision to condemn a woman who spotted a statue with lipstick at 14 years in jail

The PCO, a left -bound party, used its X profile on Saturday (26.abr.br.2025) for the Supreme Court (STF) after the 1st Class Débora Rodrigues dos Santos, the woman who crashed the statue “The Justice” with a lipstick on January 8, 14 years in prison.

The party cited the military regime (1964-1985) to criticize the court: “The dictatorship was illegitimate, and citizens took weapons to fight the regime. It was an unfair judgment, but it is still fairer than this. It’s hard to find something as bad as this one.”.

“She was sentenced to 14 years because she used a lipstick to spark the statue of the Three Powers, in front of the STF. That’s why. It’s no use saying she was convicted of other crimes – they are an invention of the STF.”said PCO.

Deborah was convicted of 5 crimes:

  • Armed criminal association;
  • Violent abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law;
  • coup d’etat;
  • Damage qualified by violence and serious threat, using flammable substance, against the union’s assets and with considerable damage to the victim;
  • deterioration of listed assets.

For the party, the Maximum that could happen was that she gets a fine. ”

“14 years in jail for lipstick woman.

“It’s not just that: she was sentenced to 14 years because she used a lipstick to spark the statue of the three powers square in front of the STF. That’s why. It’s no use saying she was convicted of other crimes – they are an invention of the STF.

It is a shame that people have condemned her 14 years for crimes she did not commit. This woman did not commit any crime. The most that could happen was that she gets a fine. She has not committed any crime. He is an innocent person who is going to jail for 14 years.

She is being accused of gang formation, armed insurrection, depredation of listed public heritage and I don’t know how many crimes they invented to arrest this woman.

The argument that she shouldn’t have gone there is rotten. Because tomorrow the staff goes to the Praça dos Três Powers, will have an interview with the police, and will take 15 years in jail. It is a constitutional right to protest in the square of the three powers.

“This woman has not committed any crime. It is a shame that the STF judges have condemned her to 14 years.

Since the business is very ugly and you need to play it, Fux disagreed, Zanin was 11 years old – which is also a barbarity.

“It is a shame that a judge does such a thing. The judges of the dictatorship, who condemned under the National Security Act, people who participated in the armed struggle, were more right to condemn those people than these people now.

The dictatorship was illegitimate, and the citizens took weapons to fight the regime. It was an unfair judgment, but it is still fairer than this. It’s hard to find something as bad as this. ”
