João Fonseca is out of Madrid Open. On Saturday afternoon (26/04), the Brazilian was eliminated by the American Tommy Paul, number 12 of the world ranking, in a match valid for the second round of the competition.
The young tennis player even presented good times during the duel, but failed in decisive times. In the end, he lost by two sets to zero, double 7/6.
With the departure of Madrid Open, Fonseca is now preparing to play the Challenger de Estoril in Portugal, which starts this Sunday (27/04). Case decides rest, the Brazilian returns to the courts in the open of Rome.

- 400 points in case of victory in the semifinal
