Several people have died this Saturday night as a consequence of a massive outrage that has taken place during the celebration of a street festival in the city of Vancouver, in Canada, local police authorities have reported.
“Several people have died and several have been injured after a driver hit a crowd at a street festival on 41st and Fraser Avenue shortly after 8 pm (local time) tonight,” explained the Vancouver police in a brief statement shared in the social network X.
In the same message, they have indicated that the driver of the vehicle is already detained and have assured that they will provide more details about the incident “as the investigation progresses.”
