Failure in the brakes caused an accident and revealed hidden drugs in oat load; 2 were arrested
A truck loaded with 884 kg of marijuana toppled on Saturday (26.ab.2025) on BR-262, in the municipality of Marechal Floriano (ES). The accident revealed the hidden drug between a load of flake oats, resulting in the seizure of the substance and the arrest of 2 involved.
The occupants of the vehicle tried to flee after the incident, but were arrested by the authorities. The PM (Military Police) and the Civil Police worked together to capture the suspects, while the Federal Highway Police (PRF) seized the drug. According to information from the part of the drug load was stolen by residents of the region before the arrival of the agents.
One of the detainees, a 33 -year -old man, was found injured in the shoulder. He stated that the tipping was due to a flaw failure.
The 22 -year -old involved was located in a cafeteria near the crash site. He admitted to being aware of the transport of the drug and would receive R $ 3,000.00 for the service.
After receiving medical attention, both were taken to the Regional Police Station of Venda Nova do Imigrante. There, they were charged in the act for drug trafficking and trafficking association. They were then sent to the prison system, where they will wait for judgment.
