On Sunday, more than 1.37 million Viennese were called for a new political representation. Thanks to Austrian citizenship, around 1.11 million of them were allowed to vote on the local council and the state parliament. (Since Vienna is also a municipality and the state, it is one and the same chamber.) The remaining 260,000 people have the pass of an EU member country and are therefore allowed to vote on the district parliament of their residential area. The results of the district representative elections can be found later on the election evening on our website, which will soon be the municipal council election here. The other graphics on this page also fill up with life as soon as the data has been transmitted.
