The 2nd Climate and Nature Finance Forum, held on May 26 and 27 in Rio de Janeiro, will have among his guests the Vice-President (PSB), the Minister (Environment) and the Minister (Farm).
The event aims to discuss financial models and public policies that reconcile socioeconomic development and sustainability, as well as consolidating Brazil’s protagonism in the transition to a low carbon economy, with social justice and focus on the preservation of nature.
In addition to the minister and the vice president, the president of the European Investment Bank, Nadia Calviño, and the president of the IDB (Inter-American Development Bank), were invited.
Former Chilean president, Vice President of the Madrid Club (gathers former presidents and democratic prime ministers), and the director general of (World Trade Organization), Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, are also in the relationship of guests.
The Forum is organized by seven civil society institutions: Arapyaú Institute, Aya Institute, Climate and Society Institute, Igarapé Institute, Itaúsa Institute, Open Society Foundations and a concertation throughout the Amazon.
