The assistant and territorial cohesion minister admitted that the energy blackout may be due to a cybers.
Speaking to RTP 3, Manuel Castro Almeida, asked about the possibility of a cyberatoque, replied that “there is this possibility, but it is not confirmed.”
“There is this possibility, in fact,” said the minister, stressing that he still had little information and that he had not confirmed.
“I know it covers several countries of Europe – Portugal, Spain, France and Germany and I believe that also Morocco,” said Castro Almeida, to whom he is in question is a “large scale thing that, by the dimension he has, is compatible with a cyberatoque,”,
“But it’s unconfirmed information,” he reiterated.
