This is one of my favorite dinners – chicken meat and bacon in combination with apples taste special. They are eager to eat eaters and younger, they will also work for special occasions.
- 3 single chicken breast fillets,
- 6 slices of raw smoked bacon,
- 1 apple,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
- 1½ tablespoons of olive oil,
- 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary (+ fresh twig),
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon,
- 1 teaspoon of honey,
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice,
- salt, pepper to taste,
- clarified butter (for frying).
Wash and dry chicken fillets. Cut them along in half. Put lightly with a pestle, trying to give each piece the same thickness – thanks to this they will bake evenly.
Combine olive oil with a rosemary in a mortar and garlic squeezed by Prague. Rub the chicken pieces with marinade, sprinkle with salt and pepper and put them on for half an hour. After this time, fry briefly and remove from the pan.
Wash the apple and remove the seed nest from it. Cut the fruit into semi -slices. Sprinkle with lemon juice immediately. Add some butter to the pan where the meat was fried. Fry the apple, adding honey and cinnamon to the pan.
After a few minutes, remove the apple particles from the pan and cover each piece of chicken with it. Then tightly wrap the meat with slices of bacon and push with toothpicks.
Transfer the rolls to a greased heat -resistant vessel. Put under cover in the oven preheated to 180 ° C. Bake for about half an hour. For the last 5 minutes, remove the cover so that the bacon is blushing.
Serve hot chicken rolls, decorated with fresh rosemary. They taste great with the addition of baked potatoes, but you can also serve them, e.g. with rice.
