The New Club World Cup trophy is on a global tour and will arrive in Rio de Janeiro this Friday (05/02), staying in the city until May 8. Botafogo, Flamengo and Fluminense are the Rio clubs in the dispute and the cup calendar will be under the responsibility of the teams.
The three clubs are aligning with FIFA about how their activations will do. Each club will define its organization individually, as it has been done in the other countries of the tour. The first to receive the trophy will be Botafogo, then Flamengo and finally Fluminense.
The Cup Tour began in January in New York (USA) and is passing the headquarters of all 32 clubs from 20 countries, classified for the tournament. In general, club activities so far have been developed for fans to have access to the trophy.
After the period in Rio, the cup will be in São Paulo a few days, under Palmeiras. The closing of the action will take place in Miami, the city of the opening game. The initial duel will be on June 14th.

How is the format of the new Club World Cup and what is the way to the final in the knockout?
Os two best teams in each group will qualify for the round of 16, that will be disputed in unique games in the knockout format, Just like the quarterfinals, the semifinals and the final. There will be no third place dispute.
In cases of tie in decisive games, there is Extension, before the game go to penalties.
